Three out of four Britons still go to work despite being legitimately ill, survey finds

Three out of four Britons go to work despite feeling so ill that they could legitimately take the day off sick, says a new survey. The survey found 29 per cent of people did not want to let down their colleagues, 24 per cent had too much work to do and 15 per cent were worried their sick records could be used against them in a redundancy situation.

Walk in to any pharmacy and you'll find a dazzling array of tablets, capsules, salves and linctuses available to buy "over the counter" (OTC).
