The 'remarkable' jab that removes birthmarks without leaving a scar

The new injection, which is offered at James Cook University Hospital at Middlesborough, can remove strawberry birthmarks and abnormally formed blood vessels without leaving a scar. Injecting the antibiotic bleomycin directly into their birthmark can remove vascular malformations, where the veins, arteries or blood vessels are abnormally formed.
