Joint Clinic: My verruca is causing me pain

Q I have been suffering from pain in the sole of my left foot, at the base of my second toe, for the last three months. Last week I saw my GP because the pain was getting worse and affecting the way I walked. I was diagnosed with a verruca. The problem is that as the pain increased in my foot, I also started to get pain in the lower left-hand side of my back and left buttock.
