Web searches feed health fears

Microsoft found roughly 2% of Web queries in a study were health-related. They found Web searches for common symptoms such as headache and chest pain were just as likely or more likely to lead to pages describing serious conditions as benign ones, even though the serious illnesses are much more rare [PUK comment- compare searching for 'headache' here on Patient UK].
