At the age of 30, with a height of 6ft 6in and a weight of 34st, Tanya Angus is a grown woman. Since she was 18, a medical condition has seen her shoot up 10in and doctors say it is so rare there is nothing they can do to stop her growing... and growing...and growing. Tanya, of Nevada, USA, suffers a form of gigantism known as acromeglia, which cannot be halted by medication. "I'll stay hopeful," she said, even though she looks destined for the record books as the world's tallest woman.
