Bunged-up nose? Just take these acne pills

In a new trial at Ghent University Hospital, Belgium, doctors are treating polyps using antibiotic doxycyclin, usually given for acne and prostate infections. Previous research has shown that antibiotics can help to shrink polyps. In one study, eight weeks of treatment with an antibiotic resulted in a reduction in polyps in half of the patients.
