Parents of baby kept alive by ventilator launch court battle to prevent doctors letting him die

THE parents of a desperately ill baby boy have launched a court battle to stop doctors turning off his life-support machine. The mother and father of the nine-month-old say he responds to cuddles and likes being bathed, and believe that in time his condition could improve. But the hospital trust that has kept him alive since he was three weeks old is asking a judge for the right to switch off his ventilator - claiming he is enduring a 'life of suffering'
